Coaches
In order to give our runners the best experience possible, we staff our running workouts with certified coaches able to give individual attention to anyone looking for it. Some of our coaches are also available for one on one personal coaching or specialized group training sessions by appointment.
Tony, an ACE-certified Personal Trainer, has been run coaching since 2004. He was a track and field captain and pentathlete for M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA before focusing his attention on endurance events such as triathlons, marathons, mountain and road biking. Tony, the "motivational and analytical" coach, resides in San Francisco, California, and is available for run analysis coaching for individuals and small groups by appointment.
Chi-An, an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, has been run coaching since 2004. She was a track and field captain and 800m specialist for M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA before focusing her attention on endurance events such as triathlons, marathons and mountain biking. Chi-An, the "caring and sympathetic" coach, currently resides in Eugene, Oregon, where she is pursuing a graduate degree in exercise physiology.
Rhonda is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Rhonda competes in 5Ks road races through marathons, mountain bike racing, adventure racing, and is a top amateur Xterra mountain bike triathlete. Rhonda's coaching style is intended to teach injury prevention and allow athletes take their running to a new level safely.
Joey, coach and co-owner of Specialized Multisport Training, draws on his high school and collegiate track background as well as his triathlon and adventure racing experience to help train and select programs for athletes.
Aracelly, owner of You Go Girl! Training, is an avid marathoner who raced professionally as an Xterra mountain bike triathlete in 2006, is a proud mother of three young boys ready to run her first sub 3:00 marathon in 2008. Enthusiastic and driven, Aracelly enjoys building friendships and community through exercise.
