Run Analysis

Do you constantly find yourself getting injured? Working harder but not getting faster? Start to fade throughout your runs? Don't look so smooth in your race photos? The problem may be inefficiencies due to improper run form. We offer professional run analysis to individuals and small groups looking to improve their running form.

 

Locations

Individual or smal group analysis sessions can be made by appointment. The sessions are best performed on a track although a lot, field or trailhead is an adequate venue. Please contact Total Body Fitness for run analysis in Sacramento, Specialized Multisport Training for sessions in Folsom / El Dorado Hills, or Coach Tony for help with running in San Francisco.

Details

Each run analysis session follows the approximate schedule below:

0:00 - 0:10: warm-up, fuel, hydrate
0:10 - 0:15: pre-stretches
0:15 - 0:35: form drills
0:35 - 0:55: running with bio-feedback
0:55 - 1:05: cool-down, fuel, hydrate
1:05 - 1:15: post-stretches

Additional benefits include the following:

  • Bio-feedback, which involves having you run, watch, give feedback, and repeat until you feel the difference
  • Leave with a handout of the form drills and recommended homework
  • Receive complete individual attention or participate in small groups to reduce cost

Pricing

The cost per person (cash or check) with Coach Tony is as follows: $75 for individuals, $60 for groups of 2, $50 for groups of 3, $45 for groups of 4.
